Colorado says it won’t enforce ‘abortion reversal’ ban DENVER (AP) — Colorado is promising not to enforce its new ban on unproven treatments to reverse medication abortions until state regulators go through a process to determine if they should be allowed.The move came in response to a lawsuit filed by a Catholic clinic challenging the ban when it was signed into law last week along with two other bills aimed at making Colorado a safe haven for abortion as well as gender-affirming procedures and medications. Hours after the bill signing, a federal judge temporarily blocked the state from enforcing the ban against Bella Health and Wellness, which said it had a patient whose current treatment would be interrupted if the new law was enforced. Tech, industrial stocks help lift S&P/TSX composite, U.S. stock markets up slightly TORONTO — Strength in technology and industrial stocks helped Canada’s main stock index creep higher on Friday, while U.S. stock markets rose slightly on the final day of trading for the week.The S&P/TSX composite index was up 62.46 points at 20,693.15.In New York, the Dow Jones industrial average was up 22.34 points at 33,808.96. Body found just north of Temple identified as missing Austin woman BELL COUNTY, Texas (FOX 44) -- A body found in Bell County has been identified as a missing person out of Austin.Bell County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded Friday morning to a report of a dead person in a bar-ditch near the 1300 block of Berger Road - just north of Temple. Investigators identified the person as 25-year-old Tiera Strand - who was listed as a missing person out of Austin. She was last seen on Sunday, April 16 near the 400 block of E. 6th Street in Austin. Investigators coordinated with the Austin Police Department to notify the victim’s next of kin, officials said. The cause and manner of death are unknown - pending a determination from the medical examiner, the release.This is a joint investigation between BCSD and the Austin Police Department's Homicide Unit.
