St. Louis among cities where homes are selling for the most over asking price The Federal Reserve's efforts to curb inflation have pushed interest rates to levels unseen in more than two decades, and the number of home sales has been on the decline since its pandemic peak. But homes are still selling, even if slowly. And they're still increasing in price, even if that increase has been slowed just a bit too. In fact, some are still selling for slightly more than the list price, and sellers continue to have the upper hand in some markets. Because of the market change, only 43 metros of more than 150 evaluated have homes selling over asking.Stacker analyzed data from Redfin to see which metros had the most homes sold over asking price. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray the new Tim Duncan and Tony Parker? Heat’s Kyle Lowry thinks so. Nikola Jokic has gotten the Tim Duncan comparison before.A reserved, no-nonsense leader more concerned with winning than anything else, Jokic even admitted he’d modeled his game after the legendary Spurs power forward.“He always had a counter, but he was so patient,” Jokic said.Between their shared pace and elite intuition, Jokic is a worthy Duncan disciple. But veteran Heat point guard Kyle Lowry was asked about Denver’s lethal pairing of Jokic and Murray, and whether he’d ever played a combo as connected as those two.“I’m pretty old in this game right now,” Lowry said. “I played Tim Duncan and Tony Parker. Honestly, that’s a great combination that I got the opportunity to play against. Jamal and Jokic, they’re deadly because they both can score, pass the ball. They’re big targets, and they have a great feel for each other.”Heat coach Erik Spoelstra joked he didn’t know where to start with Denver’s two-man dance.“You have two guys that can score 50 in a playo...

McIlroy tied for lead at Memorial by making fewest mistakes DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) — Rory McIlroy felt like he was hanging on for dear life Saturday at the Memorial. He had to scramble for bogey to start the back nine. He went five holes without hitting a green. And all the while, he never really lost ground. When he had to scramble for par on the fourth-easiest hole at Muirfield Village, the par-5 11th, he said he told caddie Harry Diamond he only wanted to try to break 70.McIlroy wound up with a 2-under 70. That was enough to take him four shots behind at the start of the day to a share of the lead going into Sunday.“That’s what happens when conditions are like this,” McIlroy said. “You just have to hang on.”It helped that Hideki Matsuyama went from leading to dropping off the leaderboard in a span of six holes. And that Patrick Cantlay went into the water and over the green on his way to a triple bogey on the front nine. David Lipsky bogeyed his last two holes. What remained amid a few rumbles of thunder — but no weather delays — was an op...
