Driver dies in fiery solo crash in Mountain View MOUNTAIN VIEW — A driver died early Friday morning after crashing into a concrete wall connector on Highway 85, authorities from the California Highway Patrol said.About 1:55 am, the driver — who was traveling northbound toward the split between Highway 85 and US 101 — struck the connector for unknown reasons.
