Castle Rock man, 18, intended to join ISIS, U.S. Attorney’s Office alleges The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado has charged a Castle Rock man, 18, who allegedly intended to join the Islamic State (ISIS).Davin Daniel Meyer, 18, was arrested as he attempted to board an international flight at Denver International Airport (DIA) Friday, the agency said in its release.Meyer allegedly pledged an oath of allegiance to the leader of ISIS and intended to serve as a fighter for ISIS in Iraq, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.Meyer was charged with attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization. Elderly woman punched in face while watering plants in East Los Angeles Authorities are asking the public for help Tuesday in their search for a man who assaulted an elderly woman as she was watering her plants in the East Los Angeles area over the weekend.The victim was watering around 6:15 a.m. in the 1000 block of Fraser Avenue when she was approached from behind by the suspect, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.The suspect, believed to be a man in his 30s, repeatedly punched the woman in the face before pulling down her pants and underwear, the spokesperson said. A neighbor eventually came by and scared the suspect, who fled on a bicycle that was nearby. 2 men robbed while walking in Beverly Hills The suspect was described as a Hispanic man who was wearing a brown sweatshirt, gray shorts, white shoes with red laces, and a red satchel that was wrapped around him.There were no recent reports of similar attacks in the area, according to the Sheriff's Department.
