1 hospitalized after crashing into MDPD cruiser in Northwest Miami-Dade; 3 subjects taken into custody One person was transported to the hospital after their vehicle collided with a Miami-Dade Police cruiser.MDPD and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived at the scene of the crash in the area of Northwest 25th Avenue and 62nd Street, Monday afternoon. According to police, the incident started in the City of Miami and ended in Northwest Miami-Dade. 7Skyforce hovered over the scene where the cruiser sustained damage during the crash. The officer in the cruiser was not injured during the crash. According to police, three subjects were taken into custody. The condition of the person who was hospitalized is not known. Police investigating after woman found dead with stab wounds in Chelsea apartment building State and local police are investigating after a woman was found dead in a Chelsea apartment building, according to officials.A spokesperson for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office said the body of a 59-year-old woman was found with multiple stab wounds at a building on Lafayette Avenue on Monday.Initially called to the address around 10 a.m., police could be seen going in and out of Lafayette Place throughout the day, while also investigating a narrow walkway by the northside of the building.One woman told 7NEWS the victim was a resident. No details on a suspect were given, though the DA’s office said there was no danger to the public.By 4 p.m., much of the scene had been cleared as the investigation continues, involving both the Chelsea Police Department and Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Suffolk County DA’s office.

Grace Bumbry, 1st Black singer at Bayreuth, dies at 86 NEW YORK (AP) — Grace Bumbry, a pioneering mezzo-soprano who became the first Black singer to perform at Germany’s Bayreuth Festival during a career of more than three decades on the world’s top stages, has died. She was 86.Bumbry died Sunday at Evangelisches Krankenhaus, a hospital in Vienna, according to her publicist, David Lee Brewer. She had a stroke on Oct. 20 while on a flight from Vienna to New York to attend her induction into Opera America’s Opera Hall of Fame. She was stricken with the plane 15 minutes from landing, was treated at NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens and returned to Vienna on Dec. 8.
