NEW YORK (WPIX) -- A horse dragged its carriage driver after becoming agitated in New York City on Sunday, according to police.Around 3 p.m. in Manhattan, the canopy of the horse-drawn carriage fell on the driver, officials said. When the driver tried to fix the roof, the horse became bothered and dragged the driver.The horse hit four cars and slipped. Officials said two off-duty police officers from the New York Police Department's Mounted Unit helped return the horse to the Clinton Park Stables. JOHNSTOWN, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two people were arrested after being pulled over by Johnstown Police around 12:17 a.m. on Sunday. Thomas Jordan (41, Fonda) and Alyssa Davenport (33, Broadalbin) each face several charges. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! On Sunday, around 12:17 a.m., officers pulled over a 2007 Hyundai Sante Fe for a traffic violation. Police identified Jordan as the driver and Davenport as the passenger. MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. -- The person who died in a serious crash last week has been identified as former Maryland Heights Councilman Gavin Park. According to our partners at The Post-Dispatch, the 44-year-old died Tuesday afternoon when the pickup truck he was driving rear-ended a call-a-ride van. This happened on northbound Highway 141 near Creve Coeur Mill Road.Police say the van was stopped at a stop light when Park ran into the back of it. A man who led authorities on a pursuit died after jumping off a freeway interchange in Riverside Sunday night.Police responded to a welfare check on a possible distraught man in the University neighborhood around 8:45 p.m., Riverside Police Department public information officer Ryan Railsback said.
